  8. QIC-40/80 & SERVO-WRITE TAPE DRIVES SUPPORTED:

  10. These drives are all supported beginning with Version 6, except where noted.
  11. They all use the DC-2000 style "Mini Data Cartridge" tapes.

  54. TAPE ADAPTER CARDS SUPPORTED:
  55. Cards that connect between the Primary Floppy Disk Controller and the Floppy
  56. Disk and Tape Drives.  These cards are automatically detected so no I/O
  57. Address parameter or configuring is required.

  64. SECONDARY FLOPPY TAPE CONTROLLER CARDS SUPPORTED (BASE-IRQ-DMA):
  65. If using a tape drive with a Secondary Tape Controller Card, the I/O Port
  66. Address, IRQ Channel, and DMA Channel must be specified with the /ADDR=base-
  67. irq-dma parameter (support added in V6, 5/2/90) to the backup command or in
  68. Define Equipment/Configure (beginning in Version 7.)  This information should
  69. be available in the controller card manual.  ** indicates support for /RATE=1,
  70. 1Mb parameter.

  78.                   jumperless cards may change depending on other system
  79.                   hardware and software run and may be different in DOS or in

  98. SCSI & QIC-02/36 TAPE DRIVE SUPPORT:

  100. These drives are supported beginning with Version 8, except where noted.  The
  101. drives marked as QIC-02/36 are only supported on a Novell file server with the
  102. NLM/VAP extension to CP Backup.  The SCSI drives are officially supported when
  103. attached to an Adaptec SCSI controller (152x, 154x, 164x, 174x), though they
  104. may work with other controllers as well.

  133. To be officially supported, a drive must go through a series of tests.  The
  134. following drives have not undergone these tests so are not officially
  135. supported.  However, users and/or testers have reported good luck with them
  136. and they will likely be officially supported in the future.
